Losing License after Reboot
« on: October 16, 2003, 01:36:33 pm »

I have to reload my license after every reboot.
After I reboot and launch Media Center 9.1 (final release) - I get the window saying my trial period has expired; I restore my license from the mjr file on my PC and Media Center opens and closes with no problem.  But after I reboot/shutdown (laptop) - I'm once again prompted with the trial expiration window.
I ran 9.0 for months without this issue.  I did install one of the 9.1 betas and then 9.1 final - the problem started when I installed 9.1 beta.
My concern is I'm going to have to use more restores once my .mjr file expires.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

I figured out what the problem was... I thought I had installed the latest 9.1, but it turns out I had installed an older beta copy.  Now that I've installed 9.1.280 the license is working just fine.
Sorry for the trouble and I have to say - WOW about 9.1.280 - it looks incredible.  I've done my best to tell everyone around me about Media Center - it's by far the best out there! ;D
