I was playing songs remotely and decided to update my Smartlists. I was actually surprised to see that it let me. When I look back at the server though the changes are not applied. Were those changes saved anywhere? It seems they were saved on the client temporarily but if I were to restart the client it would download the original version of the library and my changes will be lost. Am I understanding that correctly?

Second question -- are "last played" stats updated by remote playing, either through the Media Center client or through TiVo?

RobOK,

Question1 - You are correct as far as I know. No point editing stuff on the client end, it never makes it back to the server.

Question2 - Correct again! As far as Media Client goes, no info flows back to the server (it will be nice when they one day build in this functionality). I can't speak for the TIVO side of things, as I have no experience with it, but if it's like Media Server, I suspect not.
