Can MC9.1 Be Installed On More Than One Machine?
« on: October 29, 2003, 10:21:52 pm »

I am contemplating using MC 9.1 with MusicLobby and DVDLobby, and am trying to determine the licensing policy of MC9.1.  The license terms for MusicLobby and DVDLobby allow one to install the software on as many computers as you have at your location.  I have been unable to ascertain the terms of MC9.1.

My intent is to create a server to store all audio and video files, and have them streamed to the various computers.  I assume this will require MC9.1 to be installed on each machine.  Can this be done purching a single license, or are multiple licenses needed.

Thanks
Steve

I copied this from the JRiver MEDIA CENTER 9 FAQ.

Q: Can I install on more than one PC?
A: During the two-week period after you have purchased or restored, you can use the Install Key you received to activate the program on your other PC’s.  You may use the program on your work PC and on your home PC's with a single license.

So what happens if you presently have, for example, 4 computers that are networked together to ehich you install MC9.1 during this 2 week period, and 3 months from now, you add a fifth computer?  Do you need to buy a new license for the fifth machine?
