Display mixed up
« on: November 01, 2003, 04:51:45 am »

Hi all,

since yesterday my MC display on the screen is completely mixed up  :'(
The window seems 10000xsomething big and there are large black areas
in the MC window. All other apps run fine.

What can I do? Should I try to simply install the same version again?

I don't know what the problem is, but try ctrl-e to go to mini and back and then ctrl-w or F11 to cycle through the full screen and hairstyle modes.

If that doesn't work, you may have to uninstall, removing registry entries, and re-install.  Back up your library first.

In reinstalled 9.1.291 without any other changes, it got slightly better but no real improvement. Can I check any dll versions to see what's going wrong?

Did you uninstall?  Did you remove the registry entries during uninstall?

No, tried just reinstalling first. Backing up the library means all the metadata or do I have to backup all media files, too?

Is there a way to check for proper library versions installed on my system? It seems, that the problem occurred after installing my Canon camera software...
