Start DVD playback at Root Menu

Hello,
  I've used MJ 8 and now 9 (beta) for some time. I would like to know if there are any plans to change the playback so that the root menu of the DVD comes up rather than just starting with the first chapter.

sorry if this has been covered, but I searched and didn't find anything.
