2. Fixed: Action Window top border would look bad when auto-hiding in "Image" mode.
3. NEW: MC no longer needs to be restarted to change MEGA-ME skins.
4. Fixed: Handheld right-click menu wasn't working at the root of some handhelds.

Is the hairstyle  bug 'start selection'  doesn't work correctly when using thumbnails corrected in this build? Seehttp://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=16523

Anyone else seeing this?  Do you have to do something first?  Does a reboot help?

Thanks!

I have seen that periodicaly with some of the builds.
The 2 boxes, Can't think of what there actually called. The one when you put a cd in and then click on the drive, and the other is when it's looking for info on YADB.

I was never able to do it all the time, It would just happen from time to time.

I was only able to install this version after removing 9.1.293. The main problem I'm having is that I can't create a new playlist group then add smartlists to it. I can add smartlists to existing playlist groups.

After install I had to restart PC. First time I've had to do that.

I lost all my column options ie. which columns to show.  Hope this will be fixed as I don't fancy re-doing them after every new build install.

Grrr...lost all my column settings too.  there wasn't any warning of this...

Like the new numbered section in the panes next to the All.  Could this be extended to show for example number of albums per artist, tracks per album etc... EDIT: Just realised it does do this if you set the view schemes up to allow it...Nice one!!

Thanks for the Mega Skin changes much better and easier for when testing skins...my Luna skin is nearly finished now I promise :)

Have had to restart after install the last two builds.  dont normally have too...MC was not running or anything...was this cos of the big changes??

Cheers guys,

Adam

6. NEW: Added support for new tag ID3 v2 fields (Band, Conductor, Composer, Lyricist, Original Lyricist, Original Artist, Initial Key, Subtitle)

I only see Band and Composer fields ... not the others you have listed !

I am not sure if this is a bug.

When in Hairstyle mode, if I push a button in the left colum of buttons (Volume Up for example), it switches to full-screen mode. I have to switch back to Hairstyle with my mouse to continue to use my remote.

Also, on my two screen system, when hairstyle is displayed on the TV screen, the applications running on the PC Screen can't get any foreground ticks.

Sweet! Now that this is possible, would it be also be possible to have an "Ok." button added to Skin Manager that would set the new skin and close Skin Manager?

Cosmetic only, but if you have your mouse pointer over "stars" they turn red as they should. If you then roll the mouse wheel, the stars that move away from the mouse stay red.  if you then drag your mouse pointer to the red row of stars, they revert back to the way they're supposed to look.

To reproduce:
- Move mouse pointer into Ratings column
- Roll mouse wheel up and down
(you'll see a trail of red stars)
- Drag your mouse to touch the row or red stars, changing them back

There is still a 2-pixel wide shaded bezel when using Track Info in Fullscreen mode. This is annoying, because I'm currently using a Hairstyle and Track Info template that are exactly the same, and when I switch between them, I get that thin grey/white line all around the Track Info.

Anyway of getting rid of it?

One minor thing about the MRU list in the right-click menu:

If you use "Send to", then the name of whatever you sent your songs to ends up in the MRU list.  This sometimes looks a bit weird because you lose the "context":  The top item in the right-click menu might simply be "D:" or the name of one of your playlists.  I'd prefer if the MRU item name included "Send to".  For example, "Send to D:" or "Send to <name of playlist>".

I've been adding a lot of lyrics which makes the library quite large.

When I connect to my Media Server from a remote computer, the progress bar increases to about 25%-30% at 7200k, then disappears completely.  It restarts from the beginning somewhere at 14500-15000k, and then keeps going up to 25%-30% at which point the entire library has been loaded.

(By the way, it would be nice if lyrics and artist bios were stored in separate database files, and loaded on demand from the media server, just like track images are loaded on demand.  It takes me almost a minute to load my library from the server even though I have a 10 Mbps connection at home.  But this would be something for MC 10, I guess.)

Right click import into library, from the tree doesn't work.  In order to import you have to select the files in the main window and right click there.

Also when editing in the tree the edited text doesn't show up immediatly.  If I rename a folder I have to collapse the tree its in and reopen it in order to view the edited folder name.

I was only able to install this version after removing 9.1.293. The main problem I'm having is that I can't create a new playlist group then add smartlists to it. I can add smartlists to existing playlist groups.

Hit F5 to refresh the tree.  You actually added smartlists with every attempt, they just didn't show up :)   Once you've refreshed the tree, you can add smartlists just fine and they show up immediately.
