Hiya,

Seem to be having a problem with the .mjp files
(see this thread for further info:)

Basically the package seems to be deleting the temp setup files before the package is installed?

The mjp file is pretty basic how I've set it up:

I have created an Installer: WSCsetup.exe
Zipped up the file so that I can add it to the plugin page
Added these actions to the mjp file:

File1=WSCsetup.exe
File1Action1=RUN WSCsetup.exe


If you see that thread you can see the problems that are happening.


Also, was wondering if it might be possible for plugin developers to have access to a public dir on the ftp site possibly?
Alot of the times for updates I could create an update setup file instead of making users download the whole original file with all the included .dll's and the update file would be like 200kb instead of 4Mb.
With the current setup however it is impossible for me to give people the option of an update rather than a full installer.
If we had an ftp site we could put it on it'd be a lot easier and I know a lot of us dont have the spare bandwidth to let tons of people download plugins from our servers.


Would it be possible at all?

As far as I can see from the SDK the actions are correct so it should be working ??
