Can't download install:  Access to the specified
« on: December 18, 2002, 12:55:04 pm »

I just paid for MJ 8 and now I can't install.  I clicked on the registration code hypertext and MJ 8 trys to download the install, and I get a windows error message that reads: "Access to specified device, path, or file denied."  The path it is pointing to is the docssettings\administrator\local settings\temporary internet files\content.ie5\.....  All of these directories are there, and I have reset all of my security settings to the lowest available, but still no download.  Please help!  Otherwise, I paid $25 for nothing!

delete all files in the

local settings\temporary internet files\content.ie5\

this sometime happens if there is to many files in there, there is a limit to how many files you can put in a dir.

and c:\windows\temp

and try again.

King-

I tried that, and it still won't work.  Thanks for the help, but do you have any other suggestions?  I look forward to hearing your input.  BTW, I'm running Win 2K.

Thanks for your help King.  I got it working.  It seems that I had to have MJ open when I went to download the install.  It just worked.  Thanks
