I'm having a problem which would be better explained by posting a small screen shot.  However I'm having a problem posting it. I captured the image OK with Snag It.

But when I try to include it in a forum post [by clicking insert image button on yabb and then paste] nothing happens.

I tried with a 5k gif and 20k jpg - neither worked.

YaBB only lets you insert a hyperlink to an image that is then displayed in-line.  If you don't have a place to host the image (i.e. a web server or ftp server at your disposal), you can't post a screen shot.

If you do have a place to hold your image, you can insert the URL inside the "IMG" and "/IMG" (replace quotes with square brackets) tags to show them inline.  Or you can use the "URL" and "/URL" tags to show a hyperlink.

You can use this free site to host your pics (I've used it a couple of times to post here). It was recommended by Shelly (thanks again Shelly ).

It's best to post a link to an image rather than the image itself.  It speeds up the painting of the pages for everyone but especially for those with modem connections.

I can offer to host small pictures for people who need to post screenshot, or picture in this forum.

If you need to post a picture,
just email me at chongli_tan @ yahoo.com

and attach the picture together with it.

picture might be resize for better download speed.
