Multi-User Installation on Win2K
« on: October 13, 2002, 07:02:48 am »

I have never been able to get this to work properly for more than one user.  I've installed the latest V8 (387) under my user login on win 2k.  I have admin privs.

I gave another user account admin privs and logged in under that name.

Installed MJ and then launched it.

It only painted the "display pane" and the "send to" bar.  The display pane had info about buying the full version.   I'm a registered user.  Clicking on anything in the pane brought up the help system.

Is there any way to get this to work for multiple (preferably all) on my system?

Thanks

I've got the same problem on XP  :-[  This was a clean install of XP sp1 on a new hard drive and full install of the latest ver 8 file.

Any improvement with this in ver. 9 yet? If so, I'll d/l the beta and try it out.

Version 9 does a better job of supporting multiple users on a single machine.
