Ken Burns Transition
« on: November 13, 2003, 12:24:38 am »

Great product.

What are the odds of "Ken Burns" image transition being added ( a la iTunes where the image slowly zooms out (or in) as it pans) ? Or option 2: Is it possible to use the Display SDK to write your own transition ?

thanks

You can zoom in now with the mouse wheel or with the + and - keys.

The P key starts and stops a pan.

I know, but it's not the same...iTunes for example does it automatically...and it's not a left to right pan. It has a lot of variations, but, for example, one of them is it starts of in the bottom  right hand side of the picture with a 4~5 zoom and as it zooms out it pans diagonally..

this is an example

Yeah.  That would be amazing for image playback.

If done well, it can be absolutely stunning.

Yeah..I've been to a friend's party and he had the iTunes going and displaying images from his trip to europe and that transition effect was really appropriate.
