Imagine this:

- Ripping analog (tape) audio (note: recording and encoding simultaneously)
- Burning CD media from the jukebox
- Playing tracks from the jukebox
- and Printing CD labels...

All from the same program, all at the same time , without a hitch.
And there is enough overhead left for some meager web browsing through Firebird, resume writing in OpenOffice, and several other small programs.

Yep, I've tried ripping & encoding, and audio analysis at the same time, while playing music. Things get a little slow, but the most important thing: the music never stops!

The music engine in MC9 is rock solid, and does what it takes to keep playing and sounding good.
