I really preferred the seacrh bar where it was.

I am fortunate enough to be running 2 montitors. I use my main monitor for the main app I am using like IE or excel and I park MC on the second monitor, Since I like to see both the vis and the play list I just make the tree go away and shrink mega-me to my desired size. The problem with the search bar where it is now is it in my caes it really shrinks the little window with the track info.

I am sure I am in the minority in how I use MC so I respect the fact that it may stay where it has been placed but an alternative would be appreciated.

If you resize MC small enough, the search bar goes away.

Maybe it needs to go away a little sooner than it is now.

Thanks for the reply Matt.  I see what you mean about it disappearing.

It seems I run the width right at the edge of the threshold. It also seems to be at slightly different points depending on the skin.

It would be better for me if it disappeared sooner, I used to make  my own vis that had all the track info in it but since I got use to having it at the top of the player I have been free to use others that I like that don't display this info.
