'columns to show' improvement

Any chance that the 'columns to show' function could open as a window with check boxes so that multiple columns can be turned on and off in one pass? I use this function often as I build and change database views and it currently is quite time consuming to right click and check or uncheck one column name at a time. This would be much appreciated. Thanks.

This is definately needed . . .  there is absolutely no finesse the way it is setup currently.

This will get done.  Hopefully it'll make it into 9.1, otherwise it'll absolutely be there in 10.0.

Matt - could we PLEASE have field grouping for at least v10 too?

Things like lyrics and Bios I DONT want showing in my columns - too much info but I want to edit so just that alone instantly kills: Use columns showing - option.

Proper grouping with fields aloud in multiple groups is needed to give us alot better control of our different media types.

What'd you say? 'Yes' would sound glorious!
