when i double click on my dvd drive with a movie in it, Mc freezes up.
iv'e also extracted the movie to my hard drive, but mc has no support for vob files, or does it. HELP!!!

Try updating if you're not running the latest version.

Try reinstalling the software that came with your DVD drive.

i've reinstalled my dvd software and i can play some dvd's but not all (i can't play lilo & stich). will mc play vob files on the hard drive??

I can play VOB files located both on a virtual drive and also on actual hard drive with MC 9 so not sure why you wouldn't be able to. It may depend on how you are "extracting" them and if you are just copying the VOB files or are actually removing the encryption during copying. It may also depend on what DVD codecs you have installed from programs like WinDVD, PowerDVD, etc. To my knowledge, MC 9 does not include the DVD codec (they didn't in MJ

so that would need to be obtained from another software package. Can you play the DVDs that are not playing in the other DVD software player installed on your computer?
