Display plugins not working?
« on: December 01, 2003, 03:04:09 am »

Hi, my visualizations/display plugins just stopped working. In fact, they have more or less disappeared. I have uninstalled and reinstalled from scratch both the stable build 308(?) and build 313, with plenty of rebooting. This seems to have started when I upgraded to 9.1, which was after I installed all the latest XP updates (and latest nVidia drivers).

When I go to full screen and select display plugins, I get the choice of which visualizations (and the standard plugins are there - None, Image, 3D Visualizations, Track Info, Visualizations) using the cute little arrows at the bottom left, but the most I see is a cover art image centered on the screen. Fiddling with the arrows in the bottom center does nothing - there are no visualization choices. "n/a" is displayed to the right of these arrows. What happened? What's the magic fix? I know I'm not the first person to report this.

Any help appreciated.
