I still get short random bursts of sound when starting to play a track, maybe once every few days... I have yet to find a pattern of when it happens and when it doesn't. I think it's some bit of sound in a "buffer" someplace from a previous track playing.
I have an Audiophile2496 sound card, using the digital outputs, and just upgraded the drivers to see if it would help, it didn't.
Matt had asked I let him know if the problem was still happening.
