With the holidays approaching, I popped in a christmas CD (one of the few left not already resident on my HD and iPod). As MC played the CD, I noticed a lot of hissing and popping as the CD played. Using Windows Media Player on the same CD in the same drive plays fine, only MC has a problem.

Any suggestions?

PS - I didn't post this in the bug thread as I'm not sure it's a bug. Perhaps just an issue with some config options on my machine. A search of the forum yielded no results, however.
