media server's port

I'm trying to connect to my media server from away, and my server is behind a firewall.  I've configured the server for its "automatic port selection", but I cannot connect even while my firewall is configured to pass a request for port '80' to the server computer.  Do I need to instead configure the server for a manual port??

Yes, choose a port manually.
