Hello Everyone,
Is there a way to rename an image file by it's EXIF data?
I can't figure it out. To me this is an essential feature for any Photo Organizer.
What I want to do is easily rename all of my photos based on the EXIF data, it is really the only way to have a descriptive unique filename for each file without spending years renaming all of them by yourself.
I have found that if I rename each file in this format:
YYYY-MM-DD - HH-MM-SS
(year-month-day - hour-minute-second)
Every file has its own unique filename and if I alphabetize the names they will always come out in chronological order. With over 10000 photos for me this type of organization is essential.
I've been using MediaCenter for my photo organization ever since it came out and it is by far the best software for organization, except that it does not have this feature, that I'm aware of at least.
Please take my suggestions seriously as I really think it be an extremely beneficial feature.
