I've noticed that while installing the last few builds, setup has flashed this "installing windows media components" dialogue. It's quick (blink and you'll miss it quick) and requires no interaction.
I'm just curious because it's something new I've noticed happening recently. I was under the impression that these were once only installs?
If you were doing a clean MC install on a clean windows installation, would the installation of windows media components be optional?
