Media server problem - .msi missing?
« on: December 29, 2003, 01:10:33 pm »

I'm a big tv series fan, and have a large collection on my server.
I tired using the media server with playlists for the different tv-seriesl, however I get an error on the server complaining about 2 missing files:

episodexxxxxx.msi
episodexxxxxx.msi

One refers to a subtitles dir within the catalog ?

The episode loads fine, but the dialog is still open on the server.

BTW...
Can you PLEASE look into a way to have an option where the media server just pass a UNC path to where the file can be found, instead of streaming it to the client. I don't mind setting up reference paths to shared drives etc.
Streaming huge files are SOO slow, and I really like the idea with a central media server.

Media center coupled with Netremote is a killer solution... thanks!
