Missing images
« on: January 06, 2004, 10:47:55 am »

Since build 10.0.28
I have imported something like ~700 images to my library .
I already have ~8900 mp3 but library still show 8900.
I've build a library with only pics but still get nothing.
I'm then exported my library as xml and the images are well stored in!
But weither i am in all or images mode nothing changes...  :'(
what's up ?

When you import, did you check the filetype?  jpg, for example.  Select advanced to check this.

Did you import the right directory or drive?  There is a browse button.

When you click on images, does anything show on the right?

Did you try the Help section of the program?

Hi, sorry for posting in the wrong place ;)

I did get the import right, as it mentionned the number of files imported...
The other thing is the xml export does have all the images files in ..(as i said).
Haven't got a clue why they aren't showing...

When I click on the tree 'Media Library/Images' it shows 'no search results -- doucle-click here ....' .
I even haded 'file path' to the view scheme... without success.

What type of image?  jpg?  Try searching for the extension (jpg, for example).

Well i've been trying pretty much everything i could think of...
The files are mainly .jpg and few .png for the websites i work on.
-----
I've done a complete uninstall, cleaned the registry, deleted data folders...
reinstalled MC10.0.28 and restored the library and guess what ?!
It works... all the files are in ! As they were suppose to be ?
Strange but thing !
