Question about features in MC10
« on: January 07, 2004, 12:11:07 am »

What are the features of this new version that set it apart from 9.1?  I would like to know what to look for.

Thanks,

The features are listed in each beta thread. Do a search in this forum for the text 'The latest beta of 10 is here' and you'll instantly get a full list to review at your leisure.

I tried that and got this thread only.  The items at the beginning of this thread are bug fixes, not features.  I am interested in what new functionality 10 has over 9.1, if that was documented in a single list somewhere that I could peruse, that would be great  For the most part I am interested in seeing if any of my feature requests are being seriously considered.

Regards,

John

Hi John,
There is no definitive list yet.  You could piece it together by reading the posts for each build, but that would be tedious.  Your best bet might be to download it and take a look.

There is nothing new that I recall concerning zones or wav files.

We won't document it until we're finished.

I just did the search and it returned the full list of v10 betas.  It took just a few minutes to look for new or changed features.

Make sure you type the text:

The latest beta of 10 is here

Select match as phrase, search back 60 days on the MC9 forum and you'll find it.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the update.  Anya seriois consideration being made to my top 2?  It would really make life better for me.  The top 2 being Separate zone control and multi server synchronization.

JLee

Oh I probably forgot the time period.

Thanks,

John

Thought, yes, but no immediate action.  It's too soon to say.
