What's for dinner?

Macaroni and cheese for me. I might cut up some hot dogs to add a touch of class.

I had ziti with meat sauce and sausage from one of the many fine pizzeria's here in NYC. Side Salad, and a cream soda

Hard salami / Fresh spinach / Provolone / Miracle Whip all lovingly placed on some very good hard rolls.

To drink:

36 fluid ounces of 2%, chilled on -10°C ice in a big burly glass.

Started that diet I've been talking about today. Was really fine all day...but now it's 9pm and all this talk about food....! Good thing nothing sounds good on the above reply's. Well maybe the pizza. And my mean kids made brownies and the house smells so nice and chocolatey! That and coffee would do the trick. I could always start the diet again tomorrow......

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

These sloppy Joe sandwiches are made with ground beef or chopped cube steaks.
1 pound ground beef or cube steaks, chopped
1 medium onion
1 1/2 tablespoon Flour
2/3 cup ketchup
3/4 cup Coca-Cola or Pepsi or RC Cola
2 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon dry mustard
salt & pepper to taste
Chop onion and brown with steaks in skillet. Remove and set aside when done. Drain excess fat. Mix remaining ingredients well, then cover and simmer for 40 minutes. Serve sloppy Joes on hamburger buns with the sauce.

Thinly cut pork that is wraped arount asparagus, carrot and marinated in a mirin with sake and soy sauce. cooked to a tender perfection. Then, tofu chilled and served with soy sauce, shreded ginger and finely sliced green onions. A side of Japanese dumplings "Gyoza" with a little soy sauce and spicy chili oil. All washed down with some freshly made chinese iced tea.

Yum. Yum.

Although some nights it's even more involved.
What can I say, my wife loves to cook. She's Japanese too.

Actually they are probably about 350 calories, 15 grams of sugar, and misc. hydrogenated fat products & cholesterol. Health food for sure.

I was in South Korea in the U.S. Army, and what they make there they pronounce "Rom-yun" and it's good!!!! Here in the states I just eat the cheap stuff that's like 15 cents a pack.

I happen to have lived in New Jeresy, And If you want a real hoagie you are required to go there. in all my searching i have not found a place that makes them the way the should be unless you go to New Jersey.

In Philly there is only 2 places to get a Philly cheesesteak and both are across the street from each other.

I am originally from NY, and still work in the city. I live in Connecticut now, where you can not get real pizza easily.

I spent a month in Philly recently and had some great cheesesteak, although not where you are thinking of King.

Dude!!! I was at Camp Hovey from '97 to '98!!! And, on top of that, I was at Ft. Bragg from '90 to '95 in the 82nd!!! Keep your feet and knees together!!! Small world, eh!?

well thats what they say, but i have found places in Philly and New Jeresy that make worderful Philly Cheesesteaks.

There is a place down here that made good bread but they needed to work on the sandwich. I brought back a Philly cheese stake from Philly 2 years ago and they dissected it. They have since changed the way the make the Philly cheese steaks a bit.

So I am happy
