Burn order
« on: January 11, 2004, 11:59:50 pm »

It's really annoying to try to burn a playlist in a certain order to an MP3 disk and not have the update order command work properly or the playlist seq be preserved.

Why does Media Center still burn in folder/filename structure alphabetical order???

All data CDs will be displayed in alphabetical order. MC has the option to prefix a playlist order number before the burned filename which will keep them in the order you choose (use the Options menu in the Burn CD action window, choose CD/DVD file naming..., then choose Custom, now tick the "Prefix the list order..." option).
You'll have to manually (F2) rename the folders if you want to force them into a certain order (prefix a "01 -", "02 -", etc. in front of the folder name).

I have paid for and use Version 8 plus.

I have the same problems with buring MP3s... there is no option to maintain the playlist / sequence order in the final burn.

Are you telling me that the only way I can get this option is to PAY AND UPGRADE to the latest version of 9.x ?
