http://javahmo.sourceforge.net/ - Java Home Media Option has a lot of options that would be cool for Media Center to implement as a replacement HMO server.  Ones that caught my eye are:

*  Rotate images.
*  View MP3 file tag information.
*  Automatically download Shoutcast playlists of your favorite streaming stations.  [not sure i fully understand what this means]
* View live local weather conditions including current conditions, 5-day forecasts and radar images.  [Very cool!]
*  View local cinema listings.
*  Automatically download and view any image on the internet.
*  View a real-time image of your PC desktop.
*  Configure the server using a browser.


Are any of these in the future of Media Center?  puuuhleeeease??!
