I have version 9.1 of Media Center and Music Match programs. I prefer your Media Center over Music Match with the exception of your YADB which provides "hits" much less frequently that Music Match. I find myself ripping on Music Match and using Media Center when playing music. Perhaps you should consider using the look up method that Music Match utilizes when ripping CDs.

Use EAC (Exact Audio Copy), if you can get past the intimidating interface. It does a better job of ripping than MM, uses freedb and it only costs a stamp and a postcard. I've got lots of scratched CDs and it does a great job masking errors that it finds. Once the files are ripped, its real easy to import into MC with tags in place. Then you can update the YADB DB for the next person.
