Importing from a digital camera

I started using MC to import the images from my digital camera,and  I discovered a rather serious shortcoming. Since MC deletes the pictures off the camera while it is downloading them, I lost an entire set of pictures because I mistyped the directory path.  Can you folks add a switch to turn on/off deleting the files off the camera? :'(

That's one of the options.  Uncheck the box that says to delete the files.
