restore says: BB Initialization failed
« on: February 05, 2004, 02:37:52 am »

I just moved to a new Laptop and tried to recover my licence. I get everytime the same message:

BB Initialization did not work out

Iīve done already the following things

1. tried to restore online (same error code)
2. tried to restore by file - loaded that a couple of times (made no difference)
3. Bought and installed version no. 10 and bought a update for it (same message)
4. Uninstalled Media Center 10 and reinstalled MC 9, got still the same Message after restoring

I already bought Licences for Versions 8, 9 and 10 and now it seems to be that I am out?

What version?  Try updating?

MC9 won't work with an MC10 license.  You need an MC8 or MC9 license for that.  Details are here:

www.mediajukebox.com/license

Are you logged in with security rights?

Internet connection?

Ability to write the registry?

Security too tight?

www.mediajukebox.com/license has details.

Did you check the date on your laptop?

Did you read the license FAQ I gave you carefully?
