Unable to use trial
« on: February 09, 2004, 08:45:49 am »

I downloaded MediaCenter9 to try out, mainly to use with my TiVo.  When I tried to run it, it said my 30 day trial had ended.

I had downloaded an earlier version quite some time ago and I never got it to work with TiVo.  Now I'd like to try again.

Is there something I can reset so I can give it another try?

There is no way to reset the trial.  You could try it on another PC.

Unfortunately I can't, as I don't have another PC that I can use with my TiVo at this time.

Well...there is one way...and very brute force...Reinstall the OS. That will clean the registry and enable you to do another 30 day trial.

Ug.  I'd rather just stick with JavaHMO or just purchase a license and hope I like it.
