Viewing All CDs of an Artist at Once

Hi All,
I'm confused.  I have the latest version of mc9, the same version as a friend of mine.  On his he can click on the root folder on the tree on the left (when viewing your hard drive in mc 9) and see and see ALL the contents of the subfolder cds on the right.  Whereas on mine when I click on the root artist name nothing shows up on the right.  I need to click on each cd subfolder to see its contents.  How can I set mine up so I can click on the main folder of the artist's name and see the contents of all the subfolder cds on the right as one long list of songs?

At the bottom of the file view in MC's My Computer there'll be a little combobox to pick "Recursive".

Looked for the combobox, can't find it.  How do I get to it?  So checking recursive will allow me to view all the files?
