irman remote

ive just installed the irman remote receiver. and im unable to get it to work with two programs simultaneously.

if i use the irman software then mc wont let me use the remote plugin, but if i disable the irman software then mc uses the plugin fine

is that right?

To use it with MC, just make sure the plug-in is running and then configure it if you need to.

I'm not sure what the IRman software does, but you don't need it.

i have it up and running fine with mc, but to do so i have to disable or uninstall the irman software (which would have let me control things such as powerpoint, winDVD etc.)

it seems like only one piece of software is able to be set up at a time...

either way its a small price to pay for the luxury of turning up the volume from across the room!

If you want to control more than simple functions in MC then check out www.girder.nl

The initial learning curve is well worth the effort.  Few who have used it would ever be without it.
