Tried Converting WAVs to MP3s...WMA is only option
« on: July 30, 2003, 05:23:51 pm »

I would like to convert my entire music collection from uncompressed WAV files to MP3 files. When I opened the convert window I was only given the option of converting to Windows Media File or Ogg or External Encoder. I am using Media Jukebox 8. Am I missing a Plug-In or something?

Yes.  You can visit the plug-ins page here to find it.

That's weird...all available encoder plug-in's should show in the encoder drop down box whether they're installed or not. If a certain encoder is not installed, then MJ should prompt for download. I think you've got a bad install...but try what Jim suggested first.
