I'm a new user of MC, running on a new custom-built system with Lite-On 811s DVD/CD combo and Windows XP Professional.  My DVD drive shows up in MC, but I'm unable to playback DVDs - get "Cannot access device" errors.  Looking for suggestions.....

Is that the exact error message? I did a search in the source code and can't find that error so maybe it's a system error rather than MC.
