downgrade
« on: March 02, 2004, 05:15:42 pm »

I purchased Media Center 9.1($40+/-).  Then on the same day I upgraded to Beta Version 10.0.64 (trial period... 8 days remaining).

I've had trouble burning a CD in the Beta version, and want to revert back to version 9.1.

When I try to restore from from my *.mjr file I get a Confirm Action dialogue box.    You license file is not valid for Media Center 10.  Do you want to purchase an upgrade?

I don't want to purchase an upgrade.  I just want to run version 9.1.

Ideas?

We'd be happy to help you with your burning problems.  The first thing is to try 10.0.82, because there have been many fixes since 10.0.64.

Thanks for the quick response.
In some ways I'd just as soon go back to a non-beta version for stability.  Seems that even though I purchased 9.01 I'm not able to restore to that version.

10.0 is probably more stable than 9.1 now.
