MC Labeler
« on: February 25, 2004, 04:07:34 pm »

I went thru this problem back in November 2003, but haven't used the info until now.  Unfortunately, I am still unable to complete printing the tracks on a slim line foldover insert with any success.  I have reread all the old messages but no success.  I cannot seem to get the CTRL V function to do anything.  Can anyone provide me with a step by step from the point after loading the tracks into the view pane thru until I hit print?  Thanks very much

CTRL V is supposed to paste (into the textbox)the previously copied to clipboard tracks which are copied using CTRL X.

I don't think you need to paste.  It should happen for you.

I appreciate the help that Kingsparta and JimH or trying to give me, however I don't think you understand the label printer in MC any more than I do.  If you really want to help, would you please do a search under the topic "printing playlists on labels" for my original message and answers from JohnT.  That was started on Nov 10, 2003.  To be technically correct, we were referring to the slimline foldover plain paper insert rather than the round disk label.  At that time I was able to get good results, but now I can't get the track list to print.  thanks

I think i notice a change in the way the label program worked, and i noticed i can not even see a list now in the sample. it did show before.

but from what i have seen a few weeks ago it still printed.

i will look at it more when i get home, it may be an early day for me since we have 2 inches of snow this morning and still snowing.

I think I've finally got it figured out how to print inserts by deleting the default text boxes and making new text boxes in a quantity and size to contain 150 mp3 track listings on a slimline foldover insert.  I could use more space however and I'm wondering if there is any way to eliminate the track duration figure ie(2:17) from printing?  Anyone know how to do this?

I'm afraid you can't do that, unless you change the text type to "custom" and manually delete all the unwanted text - which is probably too time consuming.

the other problem with images with red "X''s is still there BTW, but now there is another problem.

There is a pop up telling me about 50 images are not there then the label program crashes.

I tried it 1 build ago.
