"Problem" with Creative Audigy 2 ZS
« on: March 08, 2004, 08:32:59 pm »

Ever since I got an Audigy 2 NZ card and installed, nothing in the DSP Studio works. I have playback but Replay Gain, Effects, Equaliser and Output Format have no effect on the playback. Any ideas on how to use the soundcard without all the junk that came with it?

I was going to post before but did not

I have a Audigy 2, maybe not the same model but don't have too much of a problem.

some of the DSP in MC makes the sound distorted so I only use EQ.

Uninstall the sound card software?

Maybe try their support.

I wish I could give you better help.

King,
The distortion could be related to the size or quality of the speakers.  It might work better on a bigger system where someone had spent more than $3.99 per speaker.
