MJ the best!

For anyone out there looking for this type of program, get it!! Much better than MMJB.  I have been following the forums here, and the product support is unbelievable.  That in and of itself makes MJ a superior product.

I mainly wanted a program to use for synching with a 20 GB ipod  (Haven't bought the ipod yet, but will shortly).  Ephod looked good, but when I stumbled across a post stating that MJ was working on an ipod plug in, I checked it out, an man I wish I had found this earlier--and not just because of the ipod.  Definitely worth the 25 bucks--smartlists are awesome.  I'm in no hurry to get the pod, I can wait until all the bugs are out of the plugin, which looks like will be sooner than later.  (I'm in no hurry; need to install a firewire card anyway, and I'm still converting my CD's to mp3--I use CDex for ripping, uses the same incoder as MJ but more options to tweak).  But I have to admit, the ability to transfer smartlists to an ipod has me drooling in anticipation.

In the meantime, I have put MJ on my work computer; gonna have to upgrade my speakers and get rid of my office stereo...Wether you use this program to transfer music to a handheld, or just want something for file management/playback this is the way to go...

Internet stations are also wonderful.

Haven't used the cd/burner/labeler yet, but its next on the agenda....

Again, anyone looking at this, I strongly recommend trialing this program--you'll be hooked instantly  (I know this is a gushing endorsement, but I have no ties to jriver whatsoever).
