Streaming Radio as WMV, any workarounds?
« on: March 20, 2004, 04:25:01 pm »

Hello,

A couple of the public radio stations that I listen to online are broadcast as wmv streams.  Obviously for this reason my tivo doesn't recognise the playlist.

Can you guys add a flag to a wmv play list so that it can just stream the audio component to my Tivo?  That would be great.

Here are the examples

I second that request. Although this issue has been reported both on this board and on the MC10 board, nothing has been done about it through MC 10.0.95, nor has anyone from JRiver offered a workaround yet. A bit frustrating since there are quite a few of these audio streams being streamed as WMV.

This is still a problem in MC 10.0.98. Is anyone from JRiver out there listening to this? Do you all intend to release ver. 10 with this bug?
