Perhaps this is a dumb question, but is there a way to use the media scheduler (or some other way) to convert a number of different wav files to MP3 during the evening?  

I would like to be able to rip various CDs to wav during the day (since this is much faster than encoding) and then let the encoding take place over night.  

Also, how long should it take to rip, say a 1 hour CD, to MP3 using LAME -- I have a PIII 1Ghz and a 16X DVD drive.
