Bad CD burns
« on: May 22, 2004, 04:08:05 am »

When i try to burn a mp3-cd out of Media Center v10 WinXP is crashing.
Do Media Center support "BufferUnderrun"?
What Burning Engine Media Center is using?
Any hints that some other burning software is interfering?
(I´m using Nero for other issues).

Regards
Andreas

Try the FAQ here.  Try the thread near the top of this board.  Try reading other posts here.

Try updating.

Nero has been a problem in the past, but current versions should not be.

- I tried the FAQ
- I´ve updated to the new release v10.0.140.
- I am using a NEC ND 1000A Burner - not very old model.
- I burn only with slow speed (2x)

But i still get a blue screen within XP during burning or just after finishing burning process.

Uninstall other CD burning software (as a test).

Disable XP burning.
