Woot! Sup DJ? How've you been man?  8)

I had to add Shakedown or Pip would have taken a plane to california and beat me with a stick until I would have done it. :P

We need to chat at some point as I just thought of a way to add 5 star rating functionality to multi info.

Anyway, I'm glad to see you around.

Peace,

-Cascius

Hi DJ,

I downloaded the one on the first post and it doesn't have the shakedown or the ratings...

Any chance that you haven't uploaded the new version? I was using the mjp..

Thanks

This is very nice.. thankyou!

I just wondered, is there a way to scale this somehow to fit the very small Theatre View display window?

Yeah, I can understand that.... I was thinking more along the lines of scaling the album art correctly at least when in Theatre View (if possible).

I have an idea on that:

Peter, message me when you're on. One of the skin template could be for theatre view only, with very basic information.

Ok, i got the multinfo visualization installed, started playing a song and choose the multinfo visual which it displays. The problem is all it does is show text about the album under the main tab, how do i get it to also show the album cover and 3d visual running like the picture shows on the thread.

Thanks

Yup, DJ's taking care of it :P

We've both been very busy with work and you know how that goes...

But anyway, good news: I'm 90% sure i've found a way to create a flash anim that would use variables from mc.

If that happens, that means we'll be able to have some kick ass effects all over the place :D

I'll try to look into it some more in the coming up days.

MultiInfo V2.20 is up.

It now supports the new Aruba skin.

You can download it from MCs 'Skins & Plugins' page.

Hope you like it  :)

I just paid attention to this thread and I'm glad I did as this is now my main Track Info page. I was using BlueNote because I like seeing the lyrics so was pleasantly pleased when it remembers the page I last left it on, even after closing and restarting MC. Nice job!

I have two questions though. I don't have all my tags filled out for every song but I eventually figured out what information all the buttons bring up except for Info. What's supposed to display there?

Also, I hate to say it, but I'm like imjustagamer:
I am not really a vis kind of person, so I was wondering if there was a way to diplay the coverart in both the right and the left?
Not in the current version, but maybe in the future ...

It's been awhile and the next version came out. Maybe the next version?  ;)

Info is like Comments and Notes.... You can put anything you want...

In Info, I have the Song Review from AllMusic..

And yes, this is a GREAT template.... Should be on everybody's computer!!

Just make a user library field named info.
The content of this field will be displayed in the info-pane.

And ... coverart right and left ...  yes, maybe next version  ;)

Or you can create a vis that just shows the cover art...

In a text file, paste the following:

<MJV Version="1.0">
<Component GUID="63B96C06-29A4-4de2-9A9D-9F3E08F8C014" Name="Image">
<Properties>
<OnEquation>on=beat</OnEquation>
<ImageFile>COVER_ART</ImageFile>
<RenderDelayMilliseconds>0</RenderDelayMilliseconds>
<RenderDuration>0</RenderDuration>
<MainRectangle>0,0,1,1</MainRectangle>
<MaintainAspectRatio>1</MaintainAspectRatio>
<ImageChangeEquation></ImageChangeEquation>
</Properties>
</Component>

</MJV>

Then Name it - CoverArt
Place it in a folder named Coverart and put the folder in the Vis Directory in MC,

I agree, the cover art vis works for me. No changes needed now!

Edit: Came up with an issue though. I have an cover art for one song that is 194 wide by 48 high pixels. The right side cover art shows it fine. However the left side cover art, the one that comes with MultiInfo elongates the height so it fills the box. Is there any way to fix that?

To do that, you would need a java script that resizes height and width while keeping the proportions. It cannot (as far as i know) be done in simple html.

- Cas

Another option would be to use a cover art vis where we currently have the cover art. :D

That wouldn't be a bad idea... That way the user could have the cover art on the other side or 2 different vis's going....

I guess I don't understand.  Imjustagamer gave a solution to create a covert art vis so we could have cover art on the right side. What he gave works great with the small height image file, so it can be done. I assume then that the vis code does something special that just displaying a cover art image can't be done?

You have to create your own version of the Aruba skin for MultiInfo to get that result. Just invert all the graphics and change the coding for the colors in the css files.

This is new territory for me!

So, what I do is open all the graphics in Photoshop and invert them right?

Then I open the main.css file and change all the color codes right?

What's the best way to find out what the right color codes should be?

Thanks.

Hey Cas, I've tried this now.
If i use a second vis instead of the cover-art it works fine for the first time.
But if i stop playing and start again MC shows the same vis in both areas.

That is not exactly what we want  :(  ?

And i don't know if there is a workaround  ?

Hi DJ, If you have a version with the Vis on both sides, would I be able to grab a copy? I'm not interested in having 2 different vis's on it, so this version would suite my needs...

Thanks

Hmmm, Then I think what we need is a Java script that will resize the image proportionally.

Is it possible to change the default tabs?

I wouldn't mind being able to change the Comments tab to something else...

THanks!

Is it possible to change the default tabs?

It is possible if you make some changes in the index.html:

In the 'NAVIGATION'-section you can change the Tab-header (currently it is 'Comm.')
In the 'Comment'-section you can replace the 'TrackInfo_Insert(Comment) with any field from your library. You could also change the class from 'TextScr' which means 'scrolling text' to 'TextLarge' or 'TextSmall'.
Or you could insert a table with more than one field as you can see in the 'Main'-section of the html-file.

Just backup your index.html and try it  ;)
