Multiple Artists

This maybe a stupid question, but:

Is there any way to have a song associated with multiple, separate artists?

i don't know but it could be useful.  That way you could save space and delete duplicates but still maintain full albums etc

If the song has multiple atrists, it wouldn't be considered a duplicate, would it?  Each artist would have his/her own version.
I like the idea of multiple albums for a song.  That happens a lot more than multiple artist.

let me clarify msyelf a little bit:

lets say you take the album "On the Sunny Side of the Street" by Ella Fitzgerald and Count Basie.  Is there a way to put both artists in two separate listings, that way the album could by listed under each artists separately when browsing by artist?

Or take a single song on an album perhaps and just that song is by two artists.  Can the same thing be done?
