Well, here I am again.
To answer a question, the internal bit depth is 32 and output is on 16 as it won't work higher.
The internal bitrate on Windows Media is set at 128
I guess the trouble I am having would be described as 'clipping' or maybe 'skipping' a small
portion of the sound. I've been practising on America album Homecoming and there's trouble
on every track. Now I find some of the 45s I previously input and burned have the same trouble.
Oh Woe Is Me.
However, I've chosen Normalisation at 95% and disabled simultaneous record/encode and there's
a marked difference to 100% success. I suppose the machine is not able to thik about too many
things at once. It looks like this arrangement will work forever. Whether it does or not
it's good for me and I hope it can be good for anyone who reads this.
Thanks cobbers
