Registration problem!?
« on: November 18, 2002, 09:07:08 pm »

Downloaded the latest version 8.0.388, and selected to BUY it. It took me online where I input all required info including credit card info. So I assume I have bought and paid for MediaJukebox Plus 8.0.388...RIGHT?
I get an email soon after showing my registration code and an "installation key" good for two weeks? For two weeks? You mean to tell me that after I was decived into thinking I was paying for MediaJukebox Plus 8.0.388 that it is only good for two weeks?
Does this mean I have to pay yet another $24.98? And if I have to pay THAT, how long is THAT good for? Just another two weeks? What is going on with this registration process? Looks like sales deception to me.   >:(

Please take a look at the FAQs

Hope this will help.

From the FAQ page....
Quote
Q: I tried to restore several times, and the last time it failed.
A: You have ten free restores per year. After that, you need to purchase another registration code.

If I've read this right, is another option to wait untill the year is up, then we have another 10 free restores available.
Have I got this right?
btw, 10 seems a fair 'nuff figure for any user. Don't think I've ever done 10 "Format C:\" jobs in one year ;):)

Yes, you are correct, and even better, you only have to wait a year from the first date of the 10, not the last.
