Rename files from properties
« on: April 19, 2004, 11:43:29 am »

MC doesn't seem to be doing "Rename files from properties" well.  It seems I have to activate that function several times (like 4 or 5 times) before the file names will be changed.

1. I use [web site removed] to download songs, and after reconverting their strange 384 bits to .ape, I then update the tag information in MC's editor.
2. Click on Update Tags from Library (hope that's working)
3. Right click on song and "Rename Files from Properties".
4. Look at folder and it's still the same old name.
5. Repeat and rinse several times until the changes stick.

Changes are applied when you select a different file or tree path.  This is so that multiple changes to one set of files won't require several tagging passes.
