MC data CD burns and iRiver 350
« on: April 20, 2004, 06:41:27 pm »

Having a weird problem with data CD's (RW's) produced by MC (B117). Producing a CD with 111 mp3's results in only 47 (1st try) and 48 (2nd try) files found by my iRiver iMP-350. I used the standard MC default for ISO and turned off any sub-dir creation on disk. When I drag and drop the playlist over to Record Now Max and burn (using TAO - not closed,"MS Joliet - Up to 106 in filename length, any ANSI char., plus DOS tree", "Mode: Mode1"), the 350 finds all 111 files. It has nothing to do with filename length (the longest showed up on the 350 both times) and the disk was good (quick erased the 2nd MC try disk and used it for RNM).

MC and RNM do have a common mode (ISO Level 2 long). I'll do another set of burns tomorrow and compare.
