Import MP3 on DVD no thumnails made

I have some albums, each album in its own directory and each directory has an album cover called Folder.jpg.  When its on the HD folder.jpg is choosen as the thumbnail, but it does not allow any thumbnail when its from a DVD.  Choosing to import the image does not work either.

It would be nice for this to work, as well as having the ability to see which albums are on an external device such as a DVD, maybe putting a little icon on the thumbnail so I know that I the album is on DVD and not my HD at this time.
