5. Changed: Shift+F10 shows the main program menu. (works like hitting Alt -- use Menu button for context menus)

I don't have an menu button... so what am I supposed to do? (no buying one of these new crappy keyboards is not an option. mine is only 15 years old and still way better than anything you could buy now.)

Buy a crappy keyboard.  They all have menu buttons now.

yeah... I know... they have 105 crappy keys now. I'll keep my 102 good ones...

so: how do I access the context menu now? (and why don't you just follow Microsoft's style guides?)

Ingo

p.s. still hoping to get that usual shift-f10-get's-you-to-the-context-menu thing back...

Why not just right click with the mouse?  (Assuming you have a mouse with a right button).

I find it virtually impossible these days to navigate software solely with the keyboard so I gave up long ago.

Except, of course, that it doesn't have all the necessary keys.  Are you still running Windows 3.0 on a 386 processor with that ginormous 40Mb hard disk, by any chance?  :D
